Exclusive notebook cover designs, locked to your state
Love a cover? Book it before your competitor does. Once you book a cover on Kalabook, no one else in your state can get it. Wait, and it could be your competitor's.
How the state lock works
The first buyer in a state gets the cover. That is the only rule, and it applies to everyone the same way.
- Pick your state.
- Book the cover. It is locked.
- If your competitor tries, they are too late: the cover shows as already booked in your state.
Why exclusivity matters
Shelves are crowded. When two brands in the same state print the same cover, neither stands out and the customer picks on price. An exclusive cover gives your notebook its own face.
Exclusivity also protects the work you do around a cover: your photos, your range and your launch.
What it does not do
The lock covers designs you book from Kalabook, in your state. You can print the cover as many times as your range needs, but you cannot resell the design file.
Questions
Can my competitor buy the same cover?
Not in your state. Once you book a cover, it is locked there.
What if someone books it first?
Then it is theirs in that state. Book the covers you love early.
